Ash tells Charlie he is engaged to Laura but Ash's dad is unhappy his son intends to marry a white woman. Laura actress Lizzie McInnerny's brother and Blackadder star Tim appears as an alcohol dependant man whose woman, also a drinker, vomits blood while presenting a meeting. A gypsy woman believes she is blind but finds her sight loss is due to cataracts and is therefore operable. A JCB driver & unsuccessful gambler drops a massive stone block on another worker. Mike, furious about Henry Reeve-Jones' evading justice for his profiteering, hands in his notice. Gutless Charlie nearly soils himself when Baz's husband Peter comes in wanting information about the failure of his marriage & Baz tells him she is expecting Charlie's baby.
