A high ranking Sally Army man is having a sexual relationship with a married woman; later while driving he swerves to avoid a child resulting in Casualty Car Crash#38. The increasingly bad tempered Liz tells her boss she no longer wishes to work with Josh or take her exam. A small girl with a needle in her foot also has a mother who walks out leaving her unattended. A transvestite has a fall down a staircase but fortunately his window cleaner is on site and calls the paramedics. The son of a woman who is selling her prescription drugs is badly beaten by a drug dealing gang. Charlie & Baz's relationship starts the episode in 'on' mode and ends it in 'off'.
