A little girl, distressed when told Santa Claus does not exist, is badly cut by broken glass when she runs into a greenhouse. An irascible piano tuner injures himself when he smashes a violin to make a point to an apprentice. A priest reacts violently when his young niece is killed and sister are critically injured by a remorseless drunk driver.
