Matt takes Jude to the clinic for her abortion. A jail bird's wife, just having found out her sister is pregnant by her husband, causes Casualty Car Crash#50 by ramming the prison van taking her husband, another con and two officers to court. The attractive young woman artist has commenced the re-drawing of her mural and seems interested in lonely, single Jack. A top cop, known to Kate and on site to oversee the prison van crash casualties, recognises the driver as a wanted criminal and has him arrested. The second jail bird makes an escape by stealing the reporter's car. The cop asks Kate on a date. Charlie is suspended pending more evidence.
