    Thames BoatSuccessfully completed by Anneka and her team, it is now called 'The Thames Boat Project' and has been running ever since. Not only does this very special boat help provide life skills and personal development training for young people, it also provides day and residential cruises tailored to the needs of disabled people of all ages, the frail and the elderly.

    Romanian OrphanageIn 1990, Anneka and the team took on possibly their biggest challenge whey they were given the task of renovating an orphanage in Siret which was home to 600 children, all living in appalling conditions. There was no sanitation or electricity and many of the children were seriously ill and emotionally and physically abused. The babies lived three to a cot in filthy rags and it was impossible to tell the children's ages or sex as they all had shaved heads and were so undernourished. The workforce from the UK pledged to make Siret a long term plan and made yearly visits to carry on renovation and repairs, not only in the orphanage but in the nearby town as well.

    PantomimeThe pantomime Cinderella was staged in Newcastle in 2 days with a cast entirely composed of members of the public for the benefit of local needy children and the elderly.
