The programme that tries to make the impossible possible. Each week Anneka Rice is set a challenge by a member of the public and, using only her giant Challenger truck, has to beg, borrow and otherwise persuade people to help her complete the task on time. All challenges aim to achieve something of lasting benefit, and Anneka has no idea what lies in store until the fateful moment when the challenge arrives.

    Ray Cooney Farce for Calibre Cassette Library for the BlindIn 2 days, playwright Ray Cooney wrote and directed a new farce for the "Calibre" cassette library for the blind.
  • Walled Garden

    Walled GardenWith the help of Alan Titchmarsh, and in aid of the Country Houses Association, a huge neglected Victorian walled garden in Royal Berkshire was transformed back to its original state.
  • Kent Railway Restoration

    Kent Railway RestorationAt the request of the local community and volunteers of the Kent and East Sussex Railway, the local station at Northiam in Kent and the lines leading to it were renovated to allow steam trains to come to the town.
  • Recycled Joke Book

    Recycled Joke BookIn 36 hours, a joke book printed on recycled paper was put together in aid of Friends of the Earth. 10,000 copies were produced.
  • Disabled Skiing Trip
