Fat Cat places the ruby back in Klordane's box, he and his owner head to the Arctic. Chip, Dale, Monterey, and Zipper meet Gadget Hackwrench, the daughter of Geegaw and a clever inventor. Gadget joins the heroes on stopping Fat Cat and Klordane in the Arctic, it is soon discovered that Klordane is working for Norton Nimnul to construct a laser cannon.
