Police lieutenant Denis Orlov is forced to infiltrate the group of anonymous alcoholics "Miracle". This community is regularly visited by, and, in fact, supervised by, the former tough authority Vasiliy Sapogov. Back in the 90s, Sapogov and his gang stole the cup of the Russian Tsar of the Time of Troubles Vasiliy Shuiskiy from the museum of the city of Elektrospas, where its fake was later "triumphantly returned".
