Sylvian is hoping her attention to detail and an ambitious global themed menu will be enough to impress her guests. Philippines-born Sylvian's dishes are an East-meets-West affair starting with Japanese gyoza followed by a Sumatran rendang and ending with a very British sticky toffee pudding. But dessert turns out to be sticky in more ways than one; cue tears before bedtime from the host.
