Maggie decides to take Alf's advice. Perkins warns Rita that gossip is not good for the school morale. She tells him to keep his nose out of her business; there's nothing between Ken and her. Jerry tells Billy that Hilda will need planning permission for the porch on the front of No.13. Rita leaves the school and joins her date - Len, not Ken.
