He insists on staying for his breakfast and is upset when he tells her he must have been desperate to have picked her up. His wife Muriel turns up when he's on his own. She thinks Elsie is his regular tart. Annie tells Fred she wants an extra £10 a week if Eunice is to live in. Fred and Eunice set the date for 13th May. Elsie returns home to find the house is ruins and all her clothes cut to shreds by Muriel.
