Sally and Kev have another row when a summons arrives in the post. Derek's skepticism is banished when he, too, sees Mavis's fox. But as Jack and Vera are going out the door to go celebrate Vera's reinstatement, they hear a crash in the back yard. Upon investigation, Jack discovers his pigeon coop has been broken into and two of his best birds have been killed.
