Maud warns Emily that she could push Spider away if she's not careful. Maxine is shocked when Melanie admits she loves Tom and doesn't know what to do. Tyrone befriends a stray greyhound. Jim finds Natalie crying outside No.6 and takes her for a drink to comfort her. She decides to sell the house. To make things up to Spider and Toyah, Emily gives them money to cover the cost of the redecoration. To prove their friendship, Spider rips up the cheque.
