Karen's unimpressed when he opens a card which reads "Happy Birthday Daddy, Lots Of Love Amy xxx". He throws it in the bin. Steve's amused when he sees the posters of himself as a baby around the cab office. Sally apologises for overstepping the mark at the garage and suggests to Kevin they go out for a meal. Kevin's pleased. Rita realises she's forgotten to enclose Sally's garage flyers in with the papers so pays David £10 to deliver them by hand. David shoves them in a bin. Audrey's delighted to see her picture in the Gazette. Betty, Blanche and Emily are appalled that the council is spending £45,000 on a fountain and vow to do something about it.
