Nisse is tormented by the invitation to Rebecka and Andrea's wedding and desperately searches for new jobs to leave Gagnef, but is met with closed doors. Nisse feels increasingly lonely. At the same time, love blossoms in Nisse's absolute proximity. When the wedding day arrives, Micke and Marika try to distract Nisse. But instead, Nisse cycles drunk and desperate to the church.
