The self-confident animal naturopath Belinda Mommsen (Cordula Stratmann) is very convinced of her abilities. The residents of the tranquil town of Oberbreitbach in the Bergisch region call her the “cow whisperer” because she is able to sense the suffering of her animal patients just by laying her hands on them. But she also causes a stir among the people and likes to get involved in the affairs of the villagers.
The "curiosity personified", who lives together with son Thommy (Patrick Mölleken) and house cow "Mutti", is particularly suspicious of her new neighbor Winnes Wöllner (Simon Böer). He insists on the stable of cow "Mutti" because according to the land register he is entitled to this part of the building. The public order office in the form of her archenemy Edith Merkes (Sabine Lorenz) also causes trouble.
