Retired security guard Janet Grammer works part-time running the Applegate convenience store in her Jacksonville, Florida, neighborhood. On a regular weekday afternoon, Janet is suddenly confronted by a masked criminal who bursts through the front doors and starts shooting at her and demanding the cash. Terrified and feeling a bullet buzz past her ear, she knows she must take quick and decisive action to repel the violent criminal pointing a gun at her head.
