Ah, the colours of Fall. The pugs pick red apples from a tree in the backyard: climbing on one another to assemble a pug ladder. Penny has an idea and shakes the tree. Apples fall and one bonks Pablo on the head. Whoopsie. Petey takes the apples indoors, while the pugs rake the leaves into a pile. Petey comes outside with an apple pie. Pablo jumps out of the leaf pile and Petey winds up with the pie on his face. EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES: To introduce children to basic words and facts about the fall season: cooler weather, seasonal cadence, apple picking, leaves change colour and fall off the trees.
