Pu lives in Kanchanaburi and wants to move to Bangkok to live with her mother while Ngoh's family just moved to a different part of Bangkok to open a new shop. Duean and Pam live in the poorer neighborhoods within Bangkok where Duean's father works as a construction manager and is looking to buy a new house. Pam's father is a police officer and her mother has a gambling problem.
