    Een nieuwe tijdSeven years after "De Daltons", the brothers enter puberty. As if that weren't hard enough, the family is moving to a lesser neighborhood, now dad is starting his own business. When his old 'boring' friend Gert-Jan is bullied at school by Remco, a 'cool' though hood from his new quarter, Tim drops him and allows himself to be introduced to bad 'friends' who smoke, probably not just tobacco.

The incident spurs thinking and talking about sexual awakening and awareness. Gijs-Jan shows Tim his family are holiday nudists. Jelle shows Tim his secret attic porn stash, but that starts a series of unintentional embarrassments for all of the boys.

Brother Erik questions the play about deep friendship between boys, as directing teacher Hans Bakker is a known gay. Parental reserves seem confirmed when Tim's grades go down. Thomas has a questionable solution.

Erik and Jelle are supposed to mind the younger brothers, but soon dump 'baby' Daantje on Tim. Unable to afford the toy Dann wants, Tim steals it but now is arrested. The police won't listen, which leaves Daan wandering through town alone. Still Tim is the only one their parents punish.

Ma De Wit decides the responsible response is to provide the boys free condoms. Dad however stresses another responsibility: curfew the evenings before his sons' soccer team match.

The presence of the girls puts the elder boys in a competitive but 'frisky' water sports mood. For once minding Daantje helps Tim while they juniors row: the 'baby' attracts the girls.

    AmERIKaHis brothers 'inherit' Erik's things, Tim even gets his dishwasher student job, as big brother prepares to go study in Am-Erika-A. Girl-friend Tessa rains on his parade by refusing even to try an intercontinental long distance relationship. Still dad insists that the send-off party is still on and Tim should serenade Tessa there. One too many drinks for 'dutch courage' prevents that.
