The game was developed by Radical Entertainment, and was published on the PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube and PC by Vivendi Universal Games. The story and dialogue were crafted by writers from The Simpsons, with all character voices supplied by the actual cast. The game may have sold as many as 7 million copies world wide.
