Langrisser: Japan's Fire Emblem Rival

The first Langrisser game came to the west as Warsong, but the other main series titles stayed in Japan. That's about to change with the release of Langrisser Mobile and the Langrisser Switch remakes. The series is considered a rival of sorts to Fire Emblem, as the two titles are strategy RPG games (srpg) which are sometimes called tactics rpg games (tcrpg) or classic rpg games (crpg). This rivalry extends to the mobile releases of both series', Langrisser Mobile and Fire Emblem Heroes.
