Painter Jürgen Dahl, previously bruised and whose car was vandalized, had his skull fatally struck in his workshop. Agent Egon Schwarz found his work great but hard to sell due to his attitude, yet he ordered a new car with a fat down-payment, paid from a foreign account. Dahl grimy rivaled (also for wife Katrin Dahl) artists colony neighbor sculptor Xaver Steglmann. Dahl's last call was with contractor Martin Höfner, who claims Dahl postulated in vain as house painter, but actually needed all artists consent for a mall project.
