A father is flying a small plane with his son and experiences engine trouble,landing on a Mexican beach. His son wanders off into the jungle, becoming lost, while the father waits and then takes off in the repaired plane hoping to find help. Meanwhile the son encounters two Mexican children on a quest and together they try solve their troubles on a trek through the jungle.
