Palermo. Deputy Commissioner Giulia Corsi has an appointment with Alfio Spada, a member of the Serao clan who is showing signs of repentance. During the meeting, Spada begins to reveal something hot but two hitmen burst in and open fire. Giulia, wounded, is unable to save her informant.
