Maria Estrela is a lovely girl who gets trapped and goes to jail for killing a man, a crime that she didn't do. On her way to prison the police car she is in crashes into another car in which was a nun who was on her way to work for a rich family. With no choice left, Maria Estrela takes advantage of all the people who fainted, takes all their belongs, and pretends to be the nun.
