Dreams of Curaçao portrays students at the HAVO / VWO school (the MIL) in Curaçao in their final year of exams. The students each have their own dreams and expectations about their lives after the exam. But they are not there yet, the last year is harder than they thought. Sports, a part-time job and leisure time also require attention. Dreamsof Curaçao offers a special insight into the lives of these ordinary Curaçao youngsters. Every student has his own thoughts, plans and doubts. They all have dreams about the future. Jean wants to become a pilot, Chennery is going to study Chinese and Daniel has to win at the Caribbean Games. During the graduation year, students must make choices for later. Are they going to continue studying, and which direction? Do they stay in Curaçao or do they choose to study in the Netherlands or America? And in the meantime, the exams are getting closer and closer .
