Katya works as a hairdresser in the province. She has no personal life and no ambitions. Behind her back, people around her often call her a "fool." But one day her boss Vika gives her an unusual gift for her birthday - a lottery ticket, and at the same time her own husband Matvey. Vika found a more profitable match for herself - the owner of the sausage shop Arkady Palych, so she no longer needs a husband. But the good stuff shouldn't go to waste? But everything goes wrong: Vika's wedding is upset, Matvey truly falls in love with Katya, and the lottery ticket turns out to be a winner.
