Aakash plans to meet Poonam the next day, with high hopes. Dadi prays for his happiness. Gautam becomes angry when Poonam addresses him as Aakash on the phone. Vandana asks Prabhunath to buy sweets for Gautam's family. Suman grooms Poonam for the occasion. Prabhunath sees the bank manager on the street and hides in a public restroom. Gautam's parents see Poonam's house and have high expectations for dowry. Aakash becomes devastated on learning that Poonam is going to marry Gautam.
