Shashikant tells Aakash to cancel the deal with Prabhunath. Gautam's parents ask Prabhunath to conduct Poonam and Gautam's engagement on the very next day. Vandana asks them to postpone the engagement, until Deepak and Kiran come to India, but in vain. Aakash asks Dadi to convince Shashikant to accept Prabhunath's deal. Jai lies to Shashikant that he is taking Kanu to a doctor to avoid going to work. He asks Kanu to wear jeans to a party. Mangala finds out about it.
