Gautam confronts his parents for demanding dowry from Prabhunath, and has an argument with them regarding the same. Gautam's father pours kerosene on himself and tries to commit suicide, but in vain. Suman ties a rakhi to Aakash. Gautam informs Neelu that he witnessed their parents demanding dowry from Prabhunath. Gautam visits Prabhunath's house with his parents.
