Aakash challenges Mata Singh that Poonam will defeat him in the election. The Garg family becomes delighted on meeting Poonam. Mata Singh informs his family that Poonam has filed her nomination for the election. Poonam collects rice and dal from the residents of Seetapur, and cooks khichdi for them. She asks the people to write their grievances on a paper. Mata Singh's associates inform him about Poonam's election campaign.
