Aakash is depressed about Prarthana's bidaai after marriage. Dadi advises him to be a good husband and son-in-law to his future wife and her family. She and Prarthana encourage Aakash to profess his love to Poonam. Aakash plans to gather information about Poonam. Vandana informs Deepak that Prabhunath plans to get Poonam married to Gautam. Poonam tells Suman that she does not want to get married and abandon her parents. Suman cheers her up. Deepak apologises to Poonam and asks her to get married.
