A talented doctor, Aleksandra Smolenskaya, loses a patient. His death seems strange. After this incident, troubles rain down on her like from a horn of plenty: an investigation is underway, her husband is cheating on her, and her friend is trying to take her place at the hospital. Sasha loses her family, her job, and finds herself in mortal danger. The only person she can trust is Pavel, a police captain who is leading the investigation.
