An adaptation of the children's book series "Émilie" by Domitille de Pressensé. The eponymous protagonist is a little girl who is habitually dressed in red. The episodes have Émilie facing her various fears (fear of the dark, fear of bed-wetting, fear of being hospitalized), managing her relationships with her family and friends (such as fearing that her younger sister Elise is getting more attention from their parents), and seeking fun ways to spend her free time (such as visiting the circus). Émilie's supporting cast includes her pet hedgehog Arthur, and her best friend Chloe.
