Sam suggests to Zak that they go for a drink but is a bit deflated when the others invite themselves along as he wanted a private chat with his dad. What is the secret that he is hiding and will he be able to find a chance to confide in Zak? Unbeknown to Marlon, a judge from the ‘Top Pub Chef of the North’ competition is dining at The Woolpack and Shadrach has his eye on her. Marlon soon realises she is a judge and is horrified to see Shadrach staggering towards her. Is Marlon's dream of winning the competition over? Laurel is annoyed that she's on her own when Jasmine fails to turn up to help her run the Adult Literacy Class. Will Laurel tell Ashley about Jasmine's behaviour?
