After Pearl takes the blame for Danny's deception, Rodney forgives him but insists that he honour his business obligations in the village. Meanwhile, Jean confides in Jamie that she hasn’t got enough money to buy the B&B. Jamie advises her to tell Terry before his business plans become too advanced. Elsewhere, Diane begins to have doubts about going into business with Jack when he outbids Rodney. As the two men go back and forth with their offers, Rodney demands that Diane choose who she wants as a business partner.
