A smug Nathan turns on the innocent son façade, and a thoughtful Cain notes that he's managing to make a good impression. Sam and Doug take it in turn on the stand and, though they try to show Ryan in a good light, the prosecution is damning. Later, Natasha feels utterly alone when she can't get hold of Nathan. As she leaves him a voicemail, she's unaware that Nathan is sitting frightened in a barn, bound and gagged. Lots of people want to know the truth and know Nathan is hiding something. Meanwhile, Pearl covers when she catches Rhona going to the ball with Paddy. As they arrive at the party, the pair are amused to be mistaken as a couple, but enjoy the night nonetheless. Back at the hotel, Rhona and Paddy drunkenly realise they have to share a double bed.
