After Carl interrupts, Eve sounds off at how much hurt they are causing by keeping their relationship from Chas and insists that she has to be told. Later, defying his objections, Eve heads to Mill Cottage and it's clear she's building up to tell Chas the truth, but when Carl arrives home, he thwarts her plan. Furious at what Eve was about to do, Carl angrily warns her not to meddle in his life and she's stunned when he cruelly tells her that he's changed his mind about them. Meanwhile, Marlon catches Rhona collecting her belongings from Tall Trees and is gutted when she admits she only ever loved him as a mate. Later, feeling guilty about being Marlon's shoulder to cry on, Paddy feigns ignorance when Marlon questions if he knows the reason Rhona dumped him.
