S39 • E253 Nov 5, 2010Unable to sleep in the same bed as Carl, Chas has spent the night on the sofa and hides her bitterness towards the man she once loved. Charity urges Chas to wait this one out and make them suffer. Later, as the village bonfire gets under way, Eve is furious to find that toffee has been dumped in her hat and is now hardening in her hair. With poor Jacob in the firing line for the commotion, Alicia jumps to her son's defence and a row ensues. As Chas feigns concern, it becomes clear Jacob isn't the one responsible for the mishap and she takes great delight in watching Eve tug a comb through her hair. Chas clearly has a taste for revenge and next time promises no petty prank - she's upping her game and Carl is next.
