Meanwhile, Val and Eric visit the baby and Val is determined to change Amy's mind about letting him go. Amy is torn when she speaks to Debbie about what made her want Sarah back and Debbie explains that family is everything. It's clear that Amy is having doubts about giving the baby up, but she feels pressured as Val wants to make plans to get him home. Elsewhere, Laurel arrives home and is shocked at Ashley's anger over her speaking to Nicola, while Declan and John snipe at each other over the news about Jai.
