She takes the news better than was expected but still suggests that Joe should think again. On his way out of church, Matt bumps into Dolly Acaster, who is on her way to Beckindale and looking for Henry. It isn't long before word gets around - helped nicely by Amos - that she is to be employed at The Woolpack as the new barmaid.
