His association with Sang Sang, who is revealed to be the carrier of Yong Ye's descent, makes her the target of those seeking to prevent the prophesied disaster. Ning Que and Sang Sang wander the world, struggling to protect her from those who want to harm her, while also supporting the Academy's efforts to defend against the impending threat. The episode continues Ning Que's quest to find and reunite with Sang Sang.
