Expedition Earth was a documentary series that aired on ESPN in the early 1990s, hosted by mountaineer and explorer Rick Ridgeway. The show followed Ridgeway and his team on expeditions to extreme environments around the world, highlighting the beauty of nature, the physical and human challenges of exploration, and the need to preserve the ecosystems they visited. Each episode featured a different destination (mountains, jungles, deserts, poles), combining adventure, scientific discovery, and environmental awareness.
