Dawna Lee Heising of Eye on Entertainment interviewed Kari Nissena at the Time Warner Cable studio in Costa Mesa in July 2011. Nissena has been an actress since the age of five years old and has had extensive training and experience in film, television, radio, theatre, commercials and voiceover work. She is a graduate of The American Musical & Dramatic Academy in NYC. Nissena won the Best Actress award for Joey Lanai's feature film "Callous" at the 2009 Oceanside International Film Festival.
