Fumie Lee comes from a very achievement-oriented family, and was a long-time Director of Nursing. Her parents Morizo and Emi Fujimoto came from Japan and became very successful carnation farmers. Her brother Dr. Jack Fujimoto has received a reward for education from the Emperor of Japan and her brother Tak Fujimoto was the Director of Photography on Silence of the Lambs, Philadelphia, Sixth Sense and other films. Her sisters are Yoko, Judy and Eiko. Fumie is the mother of Dawna Lee Heising, Kathy Nock, Laurie Lee, Rick Lee and Allen Lee.
