After a plane crash leaves Peter stranded in the Canadian wilderness for two months, he becomes feral and speaks unintelligibly. After his family finds him and brings him home, they struggle to re-civilize Peter. However, when Meg talks to him, Peter suddenly returns to his human state and regains human speech, telling Meg to shut up.
