Then he believes to recognize Iris on a picture, labeled as Brazilian Yara. Robert flies back to confront his past in Amazonas. In the very jungle town where he abandoned the search for Iris, he finds her, amnesiac and engaged to the native river steam boat captain who found and nursed her, starting a new life there as Yara on the Amazon. Robert and she must choose between old and new lives, while Katja flies in just when Yara agreed to revisit their German home.
