The Grand Prix™ in Bahrain made its debut in 2004 as the first F1® race in the Middle East. It became a night race for the first time in 2014, adding a mesmerizing element to the event, and it also spent several years as the season-opener. F1® holds its Pre-Season Testing at Bahrain International Circuit before the season gets underway.
