In this program, 4C's charts the last weeks of the life of Ester Wild and the dilemma faced by her doctor, Philip Nitschke, who had been treating her for cancer. Esther has chosen to die using the Northern Territory's "Right to Die" legislation, but her wish was denied when the Senate finally overturned the legislation. Esther's only option was palliative care and the program asks if this is really a form of disguised euthanasia.
